Sedona News (August 10, 2021) This is a wonderful question because in order to answer it we must be completely filled with love. Any answer from our mind is never the answer. Love simply loves. So unless we feel and deeply experience love, we do not have the answer.

Sometimes an answer from the deep experience of love will bubble up into our mind and become a thought. But even when that does not happen we still have the answer. The answer is always love. It is not the thought of love, it is the deep and overwhelming experience of love. It is overwhelming because it overwhelms all thoughts, all opinions, all mental knowledge, all prejudices, all projections, and all suffering until all that is left is love.

Love loves, and there is enormous wisdom in this love. But we must experience love to understand this. It can only be understood through love.
Last night I watched a movie. Like all movies, there are different characters. There is the hero or heroine and there are the antagonists, the bad people. All story plots since long before Shakespeare have this same basic formula.

The worse the antagonists are, the more we identify, sympathize with, and root for the heroes.

But if we ask the simple question, “What would love do?”, it changes everything. The entire plot is changed. It becomes a movie about the human condition, human ignorance, and human suffering. We love and understand both the hero and the antagonists and love each equally and completely.

All good characters are based on real people no matter how far the actual plot and story may vary from real-life. So all movies and stories reflect real people. Through love, we understand why everyone acts as they do. We don’t love them because of what they do. We love them because of who they are. Love simply loves. It doesn’t need reasons. Those are just thoughts. Love simply loves.

When you watch a movie through love and as love, the entire plot changes. It is no longer what the writer, director, and actors intended. It becomes a far deeper and truer experience. it becomes an experience of absolute, universal, and unconditional love and wisdom. The suffering and ignorance of the entire human species are clearly revealed, not only the characters on the screen, but the writers, producers, directors, actors, and the entire human species. Through love, this doesn’t make you sad or manipulated in any way. There is just love, just absolute and unconditional love.

It’s a very simple question, “What would love do?” But to answer it you must be completely filled with love. That is the only answer that is true.
We usually see the world, ourselves, and other people through our minds, thoughts, opinions, projections, and beliefs. This often results in a lot of suffering, overwhelm, stress, sadness, despair, anger, or confusion. Such is the conditioned ignorance of the human species.
But we can also see the world through love. And that immediately changes everything. Even movies.
