Sedona AZ (April 6, 2012) – With the belief that only through alliances can this great community organization continue to grow, connecting performers and performance with their community, the Sedona Performers Guild announces an organizational name change to the “Sedona Performing Arts Alliance”.
Established in 2009, the Sedona Performing Arts Alliance is a 501c(3) organization dedicated to advancing the Performing Arts through Education, Live Performance, and Artist Support.
SPAA promotes performing arts education programs at all levels in partnership with schools and youth organizations, working together to serve the needs of our community. Programs supported by the Sedona Performing Arts Alliance:
- Sedona Youth Orchestra
- Workshops & Seminars
- Artist Support
- Community Relationship Building
SPAA provides a physical home, with a variety of performance and marketing resources to its members. The Alliance’s Studio Live facility is a hub for over 175 member artists that perform for about 10,000 people annually. SPAA is also a leading contributor in the community, regularly hosting benefit concerts and facilitating outreach efforts.In-addition to local musicians, SPAA presents a variety of world-class performers with the goal of building a reputation in the Verde Valley as THE performing arts destination in Northern Arizona.
