Sedona AZ (October 19, 2019) – The Sedona Charter School—the first in Arizona–will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year. Now, there are over 500 charter schools in the state, but the status of many is shaky–a recent report estimates that over 100 could soon close.

Find out from Alice Madar, one of the school’s leaders for over 20 years, when she will be the guest of honor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s (OLLI’s) Sedona Community Forum (formerly called Lunch and Learn) on Wednesday, October 30, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., in room 34 of Yavapai College’s Sedona Center (on Cultural Park Place, across Rt. 89A from Red Rock High School).
