Cody DeLong: Cody has returned from his annual rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. He and 11 other artists spent 8 days and nights and covered over 226 river miles. They painted small paintings in camp each day and took photos during the day while rafting. Come in and see a couple of commissions Cody is currently working on and hear about the painting expedition. The Jerome Artists’ Cooperative Gallery: The Jerome Artists’ Cooperative is a vibrant community of fine artists and crafts people living and working in or near Jerome, Arizona. Stop in during the Jerome’s First Saturday Art walk, June 1, from 5-8pm when the  Jerome Artists’ Cooperative Gallery presents, “Two of a Kind with Mary Rochelle Burnham and Jim Todd.” Mary Rochelle Burnham and Jim Todd discovered they share a similar background in art as both artists have a representational style and work primarily in oil. Having met at the Jerome Artists’ Cooperative Gallery as members exhibiting their fine art paintings, they developed a friendship and respect for each other as they began sharing stories of their dual careers as both illustrators and fine artists. Learn more about these fine artists during Jerome’s First Saturday art walk when there will be a reception for the artists.

Refreshments will be served, and a very special guest will provide live music entertainment: local musician, Tommy Rocks! Tommy is best known in Arizona as one of the state’s top ukulele players. He created the Jerome Ukulele Orchestra, and the Sedona Ukulele Posse. Art walk is from 5-8 pm at the Jerome Artists’ Cooperative Gallery, 502 Main Street, Jerome. 928-639-4276. www.jeromecoop.com. info@jeromecoop.com. The show runs till July 31. Open Daily 10-6.
