logo_olli2Sedona AZ (April 23, 2019) – Dr. Lisa B. Rhine, new President of Yavapai College, will speak about how she will deal with the challenge of overseeing a college with multiple campuses, located far apart in varied communities. She will also comment on YC’s role in supporting non-traditional lifelong learning offerings, particularly not-for-credit, member-run programs aimed at older community members, like OLLI. Come to OLLI’s Lunch and Learn, an enjoyable, informative, free weekly community event held on Wednesday, May 1, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. in room 34 of Yavapai College’s Sedona Center (on Cultural Park Place, across Rt. 89A from Red Rock High School). Bring your lunch and drink at 12:30 or purchase lunch at the Sedona Center’s Sedona Café and meet Dr. Lisa Rhine to hear her views regarding local higher education, ask questions and offer your viewpoints. For more information, call OLLI at 928-649-4275.
