Clarkdale AZ (February 13, 2019) – The Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum is pleased to host the next First Friday “In their own words” monthly living history speaker series on Friday, March 1 at 10:00am in the St Thomas Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 889 First South Street in historic downtown Clarkdale.
Dinah Moore Gemmill, daughter of Perry and Petie Moore will present her story and share her memories of growing up and raising her family in Clarkdale. Born on Main Street, marrying her Clarkdale sweetheart Jim, a force of energy at St Thomas Episcopal Church, Dinah is the matriarch of four generations of Gemmill’s residing in Clarkdale.
The St. Thomas Episcopal Church Parish Hall is located at 889 First South Street across from the Clarkdale Post Office and next to the Clarkdale Fire Station. Mark your calendar for the Friday, April 5, 2019 program featuring stories and memories presented by Larry Jackson, Chair of the Yavapai Apache Nation. This program will be held at the Yavapai Apache Nation’s Education Center in Clarkdale.
