    Silent Witness Alert – Catch 22 – Day 10

    logo_ycsoPrescott AZ (February 10, 2019) – Yavapai Silent Witness Director Chris Wilson is announcing the 2019 Catch 22 campaign which began February 1, 2019. Every day through February 22, 2019, the Sheriff’s Office will share information about a wanted fugitive from the program. A direct tip to Silent Witness resulting in the arrest of the fugitive within 90 days of the announcement will result in a $500 cash reward.

    NAME:  Nicholas Tyler Roberts, 32
    Charges:  
    Sexual Conduct with a Minor and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
    Description:  Date of Birth 02/19/1986 (32), 5 feet 8 inches tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

    20190210_RobertsNicholasTylerToday, Yavapai Silent Witness is asking for your assistance in locating Nicholas Tyler Roberts.  Roberts is wanted by the Prescott Police Department for a 2006 charge of Sexual Conduct with a Minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  He was last known to be living in the Prescott area.

    We Have Been Thoroughly Trained!

    Throughout the years, we have been trained. Part of the training is to see others as trained, but not ourselves. Even though we are the others that others are trained to see as trained, we tend to miss that little nuance. The training says we must know what’s right and speak out when we see something that runs contrary to our understanding of rightness. We don’t stop to realize that what we see as right isn’t exactly right or it would be the right version that everyone in their right mind knew as right. There are billions of versions of right but ours is the only real right one. Seems fishy, doesn’t it? We spend our days, our lives, catching others — the wrong ones — doing and saying things in support of their versions of right and our training has us jumping on the critical bandwagon lest we be painted in support of the wrong right. What in this crazy world moves us with such amazing force to crave rightness, to need to be seen as right? Read more→
