Camp Verde AZ (November 29, 2018) – Join us for a holiday celebration at Fort Verde State Historic Park! The park will be participating in Camp Verde’s Victorian Christmas celebration, and you can enjoy the fun!
The town of Camp Verde will be hosting exciting activities throughout the holiday season. Bring the kids to a Victorian Ornament Making Workshop on December 1, where they can make their very own holiday ornament. There’s a fun Christmas Craft Bazaar and a Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 8, and the whole family can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus after the parade!
Fort Verde State Historic Park will be decked out in period holiday decorations, making it a true Victorian Christmas. The park will also host Candlelight Tours Friday and Saturday, December 7-8 and again on the 14-15. These tours offer a fascinating new perspective on the historic homes, with tours of the fort after hours in the glow of candlelight. It’s a special holiday experience that last through January 4, 2019, so you can ring in the new year in Victorian style!
