logo_soundbitesgrillSedona AZ (September 26, 2018) – From 1963 to 1968 the British invasion on the music scene was incredible. This weekend Sound Bites Grill takes you back to the songs, the bands and the memories of this time on Friday Sept. 28th at 7 p.m. with Phoenix based band “The Rave”.

The Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Animals, Donovan, Fortunes, Freddie and the Dreamers, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Hollies, The Kinks, Peter and Gordon, The Tremeloes, Billy J Kramer, the Yardbirds and the Zombies music are all part of the night.

20180926_British-Invasion-1The Rave is consists of four musicians from Europe, the US, and Panama. These four lads have brought their international experience together to recreate the music of the British Invasion. This show feature rock n rollers rocking through UK sourced pop classics.

The Rave is made up of Joe Salamone (Bass and vocals), Peter Storn (Guitar and Vocals), Ron Pettit (Guitar/Keys and Vocals) and Danny Tomlinson (Drummer).

The band faithfully reproduces the sounds and feel of the original artists by using drums, amplifiers and guitars used on the original recordings, together with vocal sounds and effects that bring the music to life!

All the members of the group have played many different styles of music over the multiple years of their musical careers, but have always had a special affection for the music that started it all for them. There is a $10 cover for the evening. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and show time is 7-10 p.m.

20180926_Teshner-Hall-GroupSaturday night Sept 29th at 7 p.m. the Teschner Hall Group will be performing at Sound Bites Grill. Anton Teschner and Drew Hall formed their acoustic duo in 2004. Together they have recorded 3 studio albums and performed throughout the Southwest their unique blend of Latin / Flamenco Fusion.

In 2017 they added a rhythm section to the band. You will enjoy Gigi Gonaway on drums (Mariah Carey-14 years, Aretha Franklin, Steve Winwood, Whitney Houston and George Benson) and Emmy Award winning bassist and recording artist Mahlon Hawk. So you will experience the full band with influences from Spain.

Blending Latin and flamenco music with blues, jazz and rock, they have developed a unique sound that leave audiences amazed by the fusion of genres and emotion they evoke.  The Latin lover in you will get you on the dance floor.
