    logo vvreoVerde Valley AZ (December 27, 2011) – On Thursday, January 19, 2011 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm the Verde Valley Regional Economic Organization will facilitate a Community Dialogue – The Verde Valley Waterways (Verde River and its’ Tributaries) Opportunities for Economic Expansion and Growth. Discussion on the growth of the Verde Valley economy focusing on the waterways as an economic asset and vehicle for growth. Participants will discuss and brainstorm on what is the value of the waterways to the economy of the Verde Valley.

    Sedona Gift Shop

    This is the first in a proposed series of discussions regarding the economic benefit of the Verde Valley waterways and how we can grow and expand the industry. We will discuss the economic opportunities of our waterways and brainstorm current and potential recreation, agricultural, commercial/industrial opportunities, identify what is needed to expand or create new economic opportunities, and what are the obstacles to the success of using the waterways as a vehicle of economic growth.
