Sedona AZ (June 14, 2017) – The Posse Grounds Pavilion at Barbara Antonsen Park will be the site of a free concert of the beautiful music of the Air National Guard Band of the Southwest on Wednesday, June 28, 6-7:30 p.m.
Featuring stellar vocals and a full concert band, the Air National Guard Band of the Southwest program is a mix of patriotic music, traditional military marches, familiar pop songs, Americana, and wind band standards. The night’s line-up be announced from the stage.
The band is a 39 member professional military band from Fort Worth, Texas, led by commander and conductor Lt. Colonel Eric Patterson. Designated by the Texas governor as the “Official Band of Texas” and based in Fort Worth, the band covers a seven-state region of the Southwestern United States and has performed for audiences around the world. All of the musicians are Citizen Airmen, serving one weekend a month and two weeks each year in the Air National Guard.
Posse Grounds Pavilion has festival style seating: bring a chair or blanket to sit on and buy dinner from a local food truck. Parking is available in the park’s main lot, and space is limited to 300 guests at the concert. The pavilion is located at 505 Posse Grounds Rd.
