logo_collectivesedonaSedona AZ (November 7, 2016) – Amidst the scenic views of Sedona’s striking red sandstone formations stands The Collective Sedona, a mixed-use lifestyle and entertainment venue. Its brightly-colored buildings house some of the finest restaurants, shops, galleries and tasting rooms in the Verde Valley. Throughout the property, visitors can enjoy an open-air plaza featuring beautiful architecture and green spaces dotted with water features and art installations.

The courtyard comes alive on the weekends, bustling with activity from live music, dance performances, farmer’s markets, health and wellness events, seasonal festivals and community celebrations. In August, The Sedona Village Welcome Center and The Collective Sedona introduced Second Saturday Art Walk, a monthly event featuring artwork on display and for sale by local artists, along with live music, local wines and craft beer. Each Art Walk features a rotation of monthly artist showcases, live art demonstrations and entertainment from some of the area’s top artists and performers. The next Second Saturday Art Walk will take place November 12th from 5 to 7PM. This month, the featured artist is Nina Joy Rizzo and her sacred NJoyFractals artwork. Nina will be unveiling her new apparel and home decor line including leggings, scarves, pillows and more. This will be Nina’s pre-launch into her 2017 trunk show (www.njoyfractals.com). The Second Saturday Art Walk will conclude with an evening performance by Anthony Mazzella upstairs in Vista Hall, the event space at The Collective Sedona, at 7:30 pm.

20161107_collectiveThe Sedona Village Welcome Center, located in the blue building at The Collective Sedona, was created to benefit tourists, residents and students in the greater Sedona area by providing information, inspiration and community outreach. Visitors to the Center will find information on local attractions and activities along with floor-to-ceiling artwork on display by 15 different artists. Handmade treasures fill every inch of the space including tapestries, paintings on canvas, jewelry, textiles, home décor, infused prints on metal, photography, wood-carved sculptures and blown glass all done by local artists. “We’re excited to feature artists, craftsmen, authors, tour guides and intuitive readers at our Second Saturday Art Walks,” said Keith Summit, General Manager. “They are faithful supporters of our Welcome Center and we want to share their incredible talents with the community. Please stop in for a complimentary glass of wine as you stroll through all of our featured galleries and boutiques including Bear Cloud’s Native Culture Center, Sedona Art Center in the Village, Vino di Arte, Adorn, Bilby & Moss and the Sedona Village Welcome Center.”

The Collective Sedona is located at 7000 Hwy 179 in the Village of Oak Creek in Sedona. For questions or more information, call 928-575-0203
