logo_rowegallerySedona AZ (May 13, 2015) – June is all about grads and dads! Rowe Fine Art Gallery celebrates graduations and Father’s Day (June 21) with Hats Off To Dads and Grads on June 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. The show is part of the Sedona Gallery Association’s 1st Friday Gallery Tour. Stop by to meet gallery artists and raise a glass to the stars of June: college grads and, of course, dear ol’ dad.

20150513_Peace-Pendant-300“We always think of December as being the gift-giving season, but June can be just as busy,” says Monica Rowe, co-owner of Rowe Fine Art Gallery. “Between graduations and weddings and Father’s Day, there are a lot of people to consider. Why not gift the college grad or happy couple with their first piece of fine art? And for the dad who has it all, we offer an array of paintings, sculptures, jewelry and even one-of-a-kind knives to fit any budget.”

Make sure you get a glimpse of the latest jewelry from Sedona resident Liam Herbert, who began sculpting when he was 8 years old. The pendant and its matching earrings are called Pendant for Peace. It features three religious symbols embedded into the peace symbol. “It’s time for peace,” says Liam. “Let’s help spread the cause by wearing this wearable sculpture of peace together.” The jewelry is available in sterling silver or 14-karat gold upon request.

At Rowe Fine Art Gallery, you’ll find renowned, award-winning artists including sculptors Kim Kori, Richard Loffler, Alvin Marshall, Nicolai Medvedev (who also creates intarsia art and jewelry), Erik Petersen, Ken Rowe, Jason Scull and Joshua Tobey; painters Larisa Aukon, Julie T. Chapman, Kim Diment, Vince Fazio, Lynn Heil, Sue Krzyston, John Poon, John Rasberry and Gabor Svagrik; graphite artist Jack Morley; jewelers Cherie Danielle, Jennifer Inge and Liam Herbert; and the handcrafted knives of Ken Steigerwalt.

Think outside the box this year when it comes to gifts for grads, dads and newlyweds. Think Rowe Fine Art Gallery!

Rowe Fine Art Gallery represents traditional and contemporary southwestern sculptors, painters and jewelers. The gallery is located under the bell tower in Patio de las Campanas at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village (336 SR 179, Suite A-102 in Sedona). It is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 928-282-8877 or visit www.rowegallery.com
