    Street Sweeping in Sedona Starting August 21

    Caution: Street Sweeper Ahead

    05022011SedonaLogo11Sedona, AZ (August 18,2011) – Several streets in Sedona will be swept starting Sunday, August 21 through Wednesday, August 31, 2011 between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The streets to be swept are the following:

    • State Route 89A from Art Barn Road to Upper Red Rock Loop Road
    • SR 179 from SR 89A to City Limits south of the Back O’ Beyond roundabout
    •  Upper Red Rock Loop Road from State Route 89A along Sedona Red Rock H. S. frontage
    •  Dry Creek Road from State Route 89A to end of curb (north of Thunder Mountain Road)
    •  Rodeo Road from State Route 89A adjacent to Safeway & Sedona Rouge to end of curb
    •  Shelby Drive from State Route 89A to Stanley Steamer Drive
    •  Sunset Drive between State Route 89A and South Monte Verde Road
    •  Coffee Pot Drive from State Route 89A to end of curb
    •  Mountain Shadows Road from State Route 89A to end of curb
    •  Northview Road from State Route 89A to end of curb
    •  Soldier Pass Road from State Route 89A to end of curb
    •  Forest Road from SR 89A to end of curb
    •  Jordan Road from State Route 89A to end of curb
    •  Cultural Park Place from State Route 89A to Navoti Drive
    •  Hozoni Drive from Thunder Mountain Road to Southwest Drive
    • Thunder Mountain Road from Dry Creek Road to Hozoni Drive

    Inclement weather and emergencies sometimes cause delays, but if this happens, the sweeper will return the following day depending on the schedule. The street sweeping program is designed to help keep our City clean, keep the storm drains free of debris and to keep our neighborhoods vibrant and attractive.
