It was a cool slightly gloomy January day and I was down at the ponds doing my duck hunting. The northerns had already been in here for a couple of months and had not yet become used to the idea that there were not in danger from humans. I got this shot of a couple of Canvas Backs as they were tumbling in for a landing. The upper one had already touched down and it looked like the lower one was sure trying to get everything in order before he touched down too … Anyhow it is a fun photo.

Into the weekend and hope if you have time to take a break from your activities come on over and see the presentation that Andrea and I are doing at the Mary D. Fisher theater from 1:30, PM to 3:30PM … it will be a fun one and lots of great images.
