logo_sacSedona AZ (September 12, 2014) – Now showing in the Special Exhibition Gallery at Sedona Arts Center is the Open Members’ Exhibition and Sale, September 5–21. The exhibition was created to afford all SAC member artists the opportunity to exhibit their finest works in a gallery setting alongside their peers, work with art patrons and get quality feedback on their art. It is always a great show with a diversity of styles and mediums represented.

20140912_sacThis fall’s exhibition features more than 80 member artists. One of these artists will be the lucky winner of the “People’s Choice” award based on votes submitted by exhibition guests. The winning artist will receive $250 and the award-winning piece will be shown in SAC’s Fine Art Gallery for the month of October. The gallery installs a new themed exhibit each month featuring a group of the gallery’s 100-plus artists. Visit both galleries at 89A and Art Barn Road in Uptown Sedona any day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with opening receptions every First Friday of the month.

Are you an artist and a member of the Sedona Arts Center? SAC offers many opportunities for member artists to show their work throughout the year in both juried and non-juried shows. Beatles Tribute at Blazin’ M

I can honestly say, having grown up in the Bronx in the 60s, that if it had not been for the Beatles I most likely would have grown up to be a criminal or been killed in a violent gang war.
