    Organize A to Z
“Organize Your Space, Organize Your Life!”

    Sedona AZ (June 26, 2014) –

I often wake up and feel flustered about what I am going to be able to get done during the day.  Do you have any suggestions to help me with that? –  Ann K

If you don’t have a day planner, get one! It doesn’t matter if it is paper or electronic. Then start using it as a tool.  What I mean by that is besides just writing in daily tasks and appointments, take some time to prioritize items every day. For example, any task that MUST be completed that day put a 1 next to.  Something that could wait until tomorrow gets a 2 and something that can wait even longer gets a 3.  Once you have completed the task put a check mark next to it.  If does not get completed, simply move it to the next day. I would strongly suggest doing this prioritizing exercise before you go to bed so you can sleep well and wake up fresh!

I need help organizing my budget do you have any easy hints? – Sam C

You can start organizing your budget by creating some simple spread sheets.  The first one would be your Master spreadsheet of your monthly income and then deducting all of your expenses.  Start with the fixed priorities like rent, and utilities and then see what you have left for the daily expenses like food and the “fun stuff” like massages, movies and new clothes. The second spreadsheet is a monthly tracking of your actual daily spending on the “fun stuff’ and other essentials. This way you will know if you have a little extra or you need to stay in one weekend.  Those lattes can add up so to do this effectively, you have to account for everything!

I would love to find a way to hang my necklaces.  The pretty sink top stand just isn’t big enough.  Any ideas?  – Julia C

YES!  Belt racks work really well for necklaces.  You can find them at most “Home” stores or on line. You can get belt racks that will hang on the wall or the side of a shelving unit and even some that will hang on your closet rod. They usually have 5-6 simple hooks which can hang numerous necklaces.  Happy Shopping!

My husband thinks the floor is a closet.  Got anything for that? – Jill S

You are not the first person to ask me that question. Changing someone’s habits is not an easy task, but not an impossible one either.  You will have to sit with him at a time when this issue is not going to start and argument, and get down to the “WHY” he throws his clothes on the floor. There are so many possibilities.  Once you have that answer you can work on other alternatives and changing the habit.  I will be here if you need me when that time comes!

    Does it Really Matter?

Does it matter if life is illusory or real, if this a material world like most everyone thinks or a dream? It looks and feels real, it offers sensations and feelings that attest to its realness.
