    logo_spurventuresCamp Verde AZ (February 7, 2014) – Spur Ventures announces a new event called “Flavors of the Verde Valley,”  to take place on Saturday February 15th and Sunday February 16th from 11-6pm at the old Boler’s building, located at 325 S. Main St., in downtown Camp Verde.

    Flavors of the Verde Valley will showcase the unique flavors created here in the Verde Valley, including baked breads, goat milk products, local art, music and more, all in one place. Spur Ventures, in cooperation with The Horn Restaurant, White Hills Winery & Gallery, Verde Brewing Company, Caprine Creamery and Chef Wayne’s Creations, will be hosting the inaugural event.

    20140207_robin-and-band1Local artisan vendors specializing in bread, cheese, chocolates, wine, soaps, art, and more were invited to participate and showcase their products. Some vendors will host presentations and demos.

    Chef Wayne’s Creations will be baking fresh bread all weekend, and will be doing a demo throughout the day on making old fashion breads from scratch.  Local artist Stephanie Peters will be giving a painting demo on Sunday at 2pm. There will also be art demos throughout the weekend by Jeni O’Callaghan and Idell LeGendre. Samples of beef, beer and more will be available to try and learn about from the different vendors.

    20140207_stephpainting1Verde Valley favorites PK Gregory and Afton Seekins will perform together from 2-4pm on Saturday. And on Sunday, local rock group Robin Dean Salmon and the Blackbird band will highlight the event from 1-3pm on Sunday.

    Flavors of the Verde Valley event will be free to the public and will take place on Saturday February 15th and Saturday February 16th from 11-6pm at the Boler’s building, located at 325 S.  Main St. in downtown Camp Verde.  For more information, visit www.SpurHQ.com or contact Admin@spurhq.com.
