    Cottonwood Contra Dance is back!

    20131012_privy_trippersCottonwood AZ (October 12, 2013) – The Cottonwood Contra Dance is back!  Join them on Saturday, Oct. 19th, at the Cottonwood Civic Center, 805 N. Main St. in Old Town. Learn a few steps, make new friends, and dance to live music by the Privy Tippers from Tucson. Steeped in the music traditions of the rural southern Appalachian mountains, the band features fiddle, mandolin, and string bass, and provides a powerful and lively experience.  The caller will be Claire Zucker. 

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Contra dancing is moving, active, aerobic exercise–wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The pre-dance lesson begins at 6:30; regular dance is 7:00–10:00 P.M. The cost is $7 per dancer, $5 for students, and $4 for those 16 and under.     Home Rule allows the city government, Staff with limitations, and Council to spend any money they have on any project they want without regard to voter input.
