SEDONA, Ariz. – As part of the City’s annual pavement maintenance program, the City of Sedona and their contractor, Cactus Asphalt, will begin asphalt pavement preservation work on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Crews will return in mid-October to apply a pavement treatment along the roadways listed below to extend pavement life and improve the road quality.

- Columbia Drive
- Deer Trail Drive
- Morgan Road
- Paramount Drive
- Pinon Court
- Point Drive
- Table Top Road
Crack sealing involves filling roadway cracks with a hot sealant to prevent water and debris from entering and causing further roadway deterioration.
Those affected will be notified with a door hanger before the pavement treatment is applied in mid-October. The door hanger will have details about access, work hours, and impacts.
Work is set for Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. No road closures are expected, however, please be aware of temporary lane restrictions, reduced speeds, loud noise, and flagging operations in the work zones. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained whenever possible, however, temporary restrictions may occur. To avoid conflicts with construction equipment and keep the project timing on track, the City asks residents and the public to avoid on-street parking during construction.
