Sedona,AZ — One of my greatest joys in life has always been bringing people together around a table for good food and good conversations. But not necessarily in a way where everyone sits politely with their pinkies in the air; I like gatherings to feel like the kind of trattoria I always search for when I’m in Tuscany: Big platters of late-summer heirloom tomatoes. Beautiful antipasti. Bowls of fresh pasta made for sharing. Rustic grilled meats and vegetables. The kind of meal where bottles of wine get passed around the table, and nobody is ever in a hurry to leave.

That’s exactly why I’m so excited to introduce the very first dinner in what I hope becomes a long tradition: the Dine to Donate Dinner Series. The first event will be held at Cucina Rustica on Wednesday, August 26, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to close out the summer. The evening will be a delicious, fun community gathering.  A night where everyone connects for a great time and leaves with a full stomach and heart, as the proceeds will benefit the Lisa Dahl Foundation.

We’ll be serving a four-course, family-style Tuscan feast for $95 per person, including a generous glass of our Passionista de Sedona GSM wine to welcome you. This seasonal, rustic countryside food, meant to be shared, is my favorite kind of cooking. I plan to be in the kitchen, preparing this food with my staff before we reopen Dahl & DiLuca, which is undergoing extensive kitchen renovations.

Please come casually dressed. If the weather is right, we’ll dine alfresco. If not, we’ll simply bring the celebration indoors. Either way, the atmosphere will be warm and welcoming.

I hope you’ll invite friends, family, neighbors, or anyone who simply enjoys great food and wonderful company. This is the beginning of a series of joyful community gatherings that I hope you’ll look forward to all year long. Call the restaurant at (928) 284-3010 for more details or click the link below.

I can’t wait to welcome you to my table.

    With love,

    Lisa
