Annual community event brings aircraft, classic cars, and family fun to America’s Most Scenic Airport
SEDONA, Ariz. (July 29, 2026) — The Sedona Airport has announced the return of its annual community event, Wings & Wheels ‘26. The open house and family fun day will take place Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., located atop the scenic Tabletop Mesa at Sedona Airport.
The long-standing event features a wide array of attractions for all ages, highlighted by extensive static aircraft displays. Visitors can get an up-close look at a diverse lineup of aviation history, including vintage airplanes, warbirds and cutting-edge, high-tech aircraft. On the ground, the event will feature the annual Sedona Car Club Show, which is celebrating MOPAR vehicles this year.
“Wings & Wheels is a favorite local tradition that brings together aviation history, beautiful vehicles and the incredible community of the Verde Valley,” said Ed Rose, General Manager of the airport. “It’s a perfect day out for families, aviation buffs and anyone who wants to enjoy spectacular views from the Mesa.”
Thrills will be found both in the sky and on the tarmac with a variety of aviation demonstrations. For those looking to take flight themselves, once-in-a-lifetime airplane and helicopter rides will be available, offering unparalleled views over the famous red rocks of Sedona.
The Mesa will also be packed with family-friendly activities, interactive displays and a marketplace of local vendors. A diverse lineup of food trucks will be on-site throughout the day.
Gates open at 9 a.m. While parking at the event is entirely free, gate admission benefits a vital local cause. Visitors are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a $2 donation per person, with all gate proceeds directly benefiting the Sedona Community Food Bank.
