SEDONA, AZ — The Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) is pleased to announce a strategic leadership expansion across its three Northern Arizona regional offices to significantly scale local philanthropic investments, fortify regional nonprofit networks, and maximize the long-term impact of local donors.
ACF’s Northern Arizona operations are uniquely structured through three dedicated regional offices, ensuring deeply specialized local leadership across distinct communities:
- The Flagstaff Office: Serving the northernmost reaches of the state, including Flagstaff, Williams, Page, Tuba City, Winslow, the Navajo Nation, and the Hopi Tribe.
- The Yavapai County Office (Prescott): Serving the robust municipalities and communities across Yavapai County.
- The Sedona Office: Strategically positioned in the heart of the region, serving Sedona and the entire Verde Valley community.
Leadership Continuum in Sedona & the Verde Valley
The ACF of Sedona and the Verde Valley office continues to be led by its highly successful, established leadership team: Chelsea Buck-Leilich as Regional Director and Jillian Sundberg as Regional Philanthropic Advisor. Together, they remain the cornerstone of philanthropy in the Verde Valley, helping local donors execute strategic community investments and providing essential grant support to local nonprofits improving the area’s quality of life.
New Executive Leadership and Momentum Across the Region
To supercharge the surrounding offices and scale regional impact, ACF has named two exceptional leaders to helm its adjacent Northern Arizona offices:
- Flagstaff Office Promotion: June Brockmeyer has been promoted to Regional Director for the Flagstaff office. Moving up from her role as Regional Philanthropic Advisor, Brockmeyer already has a solid command of local needs and recently orchestrated Flagstaff’s record-breaking “Horse-trading” event, which successfully mobilized $1.8 million in collaborative charitable investments directly into the community. Following her promotion, ACF has officially launched a search for a new local Regional Philanthropic Advisor to join her team.
- Yavapai County Office Appointment: Prescott resident Mark Hansen has been appointed as the new Regional Director for the Yavapai County office. Hansen brings a stellar 25-year background in corporate financial consulting, paired with deep local nonprofit experience as the former Chairman of the Board for Agape House of Prescott. He is expertly equipped to help Yavapai County donors navigate impactful charitable investments that will shape the county for generations to come.
