Somewhere along the way I picked up the idea that thoughts create reality, so of course, when things weren’t going the way I had envisioned I blamed myself for the thoughts that created that not-according-to-plan unfolding.

I’ve written about this before, but it’s been a while and I was wondering what I might say about this today, so here goes. By the way, I have no idea what I’m going to write.

Thoughts arise and fall. They pass by like trains in King’s Cross Station (loved Harry Potter). The cars stop for a moment to pick up a little baggage and then move on. If I don’t load up, they simply pass on by.

Now here’s the question. If I believe in them, do they control which appearances show up and can I not believe in them. Is that even possible?

Believing seems to happen, or not. If I am primed to believe, I will believe. If the tendency to doubt is present, at least in this particular case, the belief doesn’t hop on board. In that sense, the belief is more of an after effect than a cause for an effect. It is like reading a story and getting to the end and saying, oh yeah, I get that.

We think thought (and beliefs) create but they are more the creation of life as it spills out like oil dripping on the tracks. It doesn’t grease the wheels preparing the way. It oils the track for the next train.

I write about the blueprint in Actuality. Thoughts don’t create. They are part of creation, an energetic signature that infuses the blueprint of manifested life. It’s always changing and everything — thoughts beliefs actions reactions responses silence emotions — all are creations creating created simultaneously.

This mystery is too big for one fleeting thought to shift the track, but one thought is the mystery. A paradox. Now I am wondering about that one thought … hmmm … could one thought with the full power of love supporting it, alter course?

That’s what is always happening. The power of love is creating. The me wants to control what’s created so tries to understand and manipulate it. It’s manipulation regardless of how sweetly, how innocently, how selflessly, you phrase it.

    No Home Rule

Home Rule allows the city government, Staff with limitations, and Council to spend any money they have on any project they want without regard to voter input.
