Sedona, AZ –Concert event will celebrate the Centennial of Marilyn Monroe to open the 32nd Annual Festival
Join us for a special Centennial Celebration of Marilyn Monroe — “In Love With Marilyn” — for the opening of the 32nd Annual Sedona International Film Festival. The performance will take place live at the Sedona Performing Arts Center on opening night, Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.
Samantha Stevens, a British performer now often found playing iconic American blondes across the U.S. (from Lily St. Regis in the Annie national tour to Miss Adelaide, Betty Haynes — and every now and then Miss Monroe herself) — brings this glamorous evening to the Sedona International Film Festival.

This isn’t an impersonation — it’s a toast. Featuring incredible New York musicians led by the incomparable Garrett Taylor, the show opens the door to the woman behind the myth: a brilliant, ambitious artist navigating fame, femininity, and the cost of being adored. With songs made famous by Marilyn alongside reimagined classics so fitting you’ll forget she didn’t sing them herself, “In Love With Marilyn” is funny, elegant, intimate and deeply human.
A love letter, a mirror, and a martini all in one, this centennial celebration invites audiences to look again at an icon we think we know and ask why — a hundred years later — we’re still trying to understand her!
This special film festival performance is sponsored by Chris Fladlien.
“In Love With Marilyn” will take the stage at the Sedona Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 General Admission or $15 for Sedona Film Festival Members.
