Volunteer Opportunity: Community Coach for the Yavapai Reentry Project
The Yavapai Reentry Project is looking for dedicated community members to serve as volunteer Community Coaches for individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration. As a Community Coach, you will provide crucial one-on-one guidance, emotional support, resources, and referrals through the Yavapai Reentry Project.
No prior experience, education, or specific qualifications are necessary; the only requirement is a genuine desire to help. Free training is provided.

This class is being held on Saturday, March 14th, 2026, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Yavapai Reentry Project office located at 8056 E. Valley Road, Suite B, Prescott Valley. Virtual Learning Experience: From Inmate to Citizen
Are you interested in learning about the challenges faced by individuals returning to the community after incarceration, or do you have a loved one who is currently incarcerated?

How the community can support successful homecomings.

MATFORCE is a community organization that educates and raises awareness about substance abuse issues, and advocates for policy change throughout Yavapai County. With over 300 active volunteers, MATFORCE encompasses the belief that stopping drug use before it starts through primary prevention strategies is an essential part of building healthier communities.
