SEDONA, Ariz. – The city welcomes the public to join the Sedona Police Department for the Community Outreach Event, formally known as National Night Out on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at The Hub at Posse Grounds, located at 525 Posse Ground Road.

This family-friendly event is an opportunity to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention, and public safety, and bring police and citizens together in a positive way.

The Sedona Police Department will host representatives from public, private and non-profit organizations that are working together to keep Sedona a safe place to live, work and visit, including the Sedona Fire District, Coconino and Yavapai County emergency management teams, Verde Valley Search and Rescue, the Verde Valley Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) unit, city of Sedona Housing Program staff, MATFORCE and more. Along with meeting community public safety officials, a wide range of information will be available on topics such as law enforcement, firefighting, safety and rescue equipment, and ways to make homes and streets safer, among others. There will also be SWAT, K9, drone, traffic stops and DUI demos throughout the event.
