Sedona News – YC’s Sedona Center will cover the crossroads of art and health in May, when Yavapai College and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce present the Creative & Healing Arts Festival, Wednesday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sedona Center.

20250429 CreativeArtsHealingFestivalFlyer“The Creative & Healing Arts Festival celebrates the powerful connection between creativity and wellness — two forces that naturally complement each other.” REDC Career Services Manager Katherine Anderson said. “Both the arts and healing practices offer ways to express, transform, and inspire personal and community well-being.”

The Creative & Healing Arts Festival brings those two forces together on a Spring Sedona afternoon. Patrons can walk the sun-splashed terrace and charming rotunda of the YC Sedona Center, examining the work of talented artists and the wares of more than 20 local wellness vendors. A host of new products and hands-on demonstrations will be available; local experts will consult and answer your questions; and artists will be there to discuss their work in a fun, community-centered atmosphere.

The Creative & Healing Arts Festival is sponsored by Yavapai College’s Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC); as well as the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourist Bureau, Village Yoga, Snap Fitness 24/7 and The Pines Inn & Suites in Cottonwood.

“By joining forces, Yavapai College’s REDC and the Sedona Chamber of Commerce are highlighting the spirit of Sedona: a place where innovation, artistry, and healthy living thrive together.” Anderson said. “This festival gives our local artists, makers, and wellness entrepreneurs a platform to share their gifts and drive economic vitality in a uniquely Sedona way.”

A limited number of vendor spaces are still available. The Yavapai College Sedona Center is located at 4215 Arts Village Drive, in West Sedona. Admission is free. For information on vendor registration, please contact Katherine Anderson at: (928) 776.2008 or katherine.anderson@yc.edu.

Yavapai College operates seven campuses and centers throughout Yavapai County and offers over 100 degrees and certificates, three baccalaureate degrees (with one more pending accreditation approval), student and community services, and cultural events and activities.
