    … Over the weekend I found a video of, Wilford, a Brown Bear that was posted on the Parliament of Owls, YouTube Channel a couple of years ago … so I went back, found it and have viewed it several times in the last couple of days. It has impressed with a simple message that we can incorporate into our own lives! Chill! Four plus hours condensed into a mere 16 minutes. It follows Wilford as he takes a morning nap and whilst sleeping he stretches, extends limbs, rolls and otherwise behaves much as we do and many other creatures too! There are no worries about other creatures in the forest, just living and being a part of creation. The video is worth a watch all the way through and in the end you learn they are much like us when they wake from a sleep. No radios, televisions, mobile phones and other trappings of “civilization”. A little peace and tranquillity we can put into our lives … daily! Check out some of the other videos he has of wildlife in the Angeles National Forest … I may have to buy some trail cameras.

    I took the shot above at, Bearizona Wildlife Park, near Williams, Arizona. A place worthy of a visit. Brown Bears are also known as Grizzly Bears in some areas.

    The shot below is of an Alpaca that a friend owns … I smile every time I look at it … the importance of a smile, you always smile back and that feels good!

    Thou great God, uphold me also in the lonely hour;
    and though I fall in the din and dust of the world,
    resurrect Thou me. Even to the last, turn my hands
    to kindly service, and part my lips in gleeful songs
    of love. And in the softly falling dark, when all grows
    strangely still, may I be glad to have trod the sweet
    green earth, and known the tender touch of love. Yet
    may I depart with joy, as one who journeys home at
    evening.

    It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

    Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
