    Verde Valley SciTech Festival 2025: Celebrating STEM!

    Verde Valley News – The Verde Valley STREAM Council is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Verde Valley SciTech Festival! This exciting community event, aimed at inspiring the next generation of STEM enthusiasts and leaders, will feature 62 free events spread across the Verde Valley throughout the month of February. Families are invited to join the celebration and discover the diverse opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

    With a mission to encourage local engagement and collaboration in STEM education, the festival is designed to provide high-quality, free-of-cost educational experiences for children and families. By working together with a variety of community organizations, the festival highlights the incredible STEM resources available right here in the Verde Valley.

    Last year’s festival was a resounding success, drawing over 1,500 participants from across the region. This year promises to be even bigger and better, offering opportunities to connect with a variety of STEM organizations while engaging in hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and interactive exhibits.

    This year’s festival features contributions from an impressive roster of local and statewide organizations, including: SciTech Institute, Science Vortex, Friends of the Verde River, Arizona State Parks, Cottonwood Public Library, Camp Verde Community Library, Community Library Sedona, Clark Memorial Library, Cottonwood Community Nature Center, Verde Valley Archaeology Center, Northern Arizona Audubon, Yavapai County Flood Control District, Yavapai Exploration and Science, NAU PLANETS, UA School of Mining & Mineral Resources, City of Sedona Parks & Rec, Cottonwood Oak-Creek School District, Camp Verde Elementary School, Clarkdale-Jerome Elementary School, Sonoran Reptiles, Verde Valley Sanctuary, Arizona Science Center, tGen North, and Tuneni.
