    CARLOS RODRIGUEZ

Carlos Rodriguez was thrown into comedy. Born into a large family, he quickly became a fast-talking entertainer which eventually led him to comedy. Taking the stage, you see the inner child come out with all the passion, excitement and energy of a new performer with the grace and comfort of a seasoned pro.

Carlos brings a clever, silly and approachable voice to comedy. In a fun and relatable way his observational humor touches beyond daily occurrences to deep rooted memories of his childhood, views on the simplest ideas and the most off-beat subject matter.

    JUSTIN TIETJEN

Since 2013 Justin has captured audiences with his unique perspective, delivery and incredible smile. With Justin’s quiet and shy demeanor, crowds have a hard time guessing what his approach will be giving him the element of surprise.  As someone with many obstacles, Justin’s material centers on his life, observations, and the struggles of caring about the environment; or the fact that not many people use common sense when it comes to coffee shops and grocery stores.

What makes Justin stand out from other comedians is his delivery, pacing, and cadence. Justin believes that it is a comedian’s job to tell their story even when it is not that humorous but it is their responsibility to find the humor and make it more enjoyable to keep the audience engaged and want to stay and hear more.

Stand-Up Comedy Night at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre is made possible by our hospitality sponsor, Arabella Hotel Sedona.

Stand-Up Comedy Night with Carlos Rodriguez and Justin Tietjen hits the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20.

For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
