… around 10P I started going through some of the old family and friends folders and spent a lot of time reliving the joys stored in those images. I worked a number of them up with the idea of sharing with the family and friends who are pictured in them and just a few minutes ago realized I hadn’t gone through any to get out tonight … OUCH! So here are a few of me that I had worked up and one of Bell Rock after a snow storm.

The top photo is a shot I took of Bell Rock in the winter of 1991 with a 35mm film camera and I had it scanned and digitized it. A much different winter than we are currently having … reminiscent of many winters we had in Minnesota and Colorado … snow free winters followed by winters of heavy snow … cycles!

Below is a photo my friend Eric took of me down at Lake Pleasant not long after I upgraded the engine to the max that the boat can handle … wonder if I could get away with this speed in the no wake zones? I am not throwing a wake of any consequence because the boat isn’t really displacing any water to speak of … naw they usually attach a 5mph limitation to it too.

Below I am firing a fully automatic AK-47 and the next photo shows the results … a wind was taking the dust away. A good friend had brought up half a dozen fully automatic weapons and a couple of sniper rifles, a 308 caliber and a 50 caliber. We had a great time and Corky was shooting the 30 caliber belt feed machine gun. Our friend was an arms dealer at the time … continuing thanks for the fabulous time.

Time to wrap the day and get a few hours before I start the new one. Have a great weekend and chose to have a super day every day when you wake … smile at those you meet and greet each day!

    Cheers,

    Ted

You are a child of the universe no less
than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be
here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no
doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever
you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors
and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep
peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery
and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world.
    Be cheerful.
    Strive to be happy.
