Sedona News – Kuder Art Studio is hosting their 4th annual Holiday Market, Saturday, December 7, 10:00-4:00 and Sunday, December 8, 10:00-3:00. Five local artists will join Mary Kuder at her studio this year with a variety of holiday gifts and goodies. This year also, proceeds from sales will be donated to the Sedona Food Bank and there will be a drop off box for non-perishables that will be delivered to the Food Bank.

Mary Sobrina Kuder will have ready her one of a kind sculptured mixed media Shrines, original hand painted silks, art to wear and monoprints. Mary’s early art education and career began in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and The San Francisco Art Institute. She comes from the bay area genre of figure painting. She also has lived in Santa Fe and PUKATJA, Southern Australia. Mary has traveled to many countries around the world, which imbue her art with the gestural and exotic style so apparent. Her works have been shown at MOCA in Los Angeles as well as The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Rental Gallery. She has called Sedona home since 2001. Mary participated in the Sedona Art Festival for many years and has been an active participant in the Sedona Arts Artists in the classroom. Her large mixed media paintings are in private collections around the world.
