Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Last Front” showing Oct. 4-10 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres.

Amidst World War I’s chaos, a grieving father turns hero, leading villagers to safety while evading a relentless enemy driven by vengeance.

In a Belgian village during the tumultuous start of World War I, the Lambert family finds themselves thrust into the heart of the conflict in “The Last Front.”

At the center of this gripping narrative is Leonard Lambert, a devoted husband and father who grapples with the overwhelming responsibility of protecting his family amidst the chaos of war.

As German forces advance and the village is engulfed in turmoil, Leonard must navigate the intricate dynamics within his family, balancing his duty as a father with the urgent need to ensure their survival. The tension escalates as personal sacrifices and difficult choices test the bonds that hold the Lambert family together.

Amidst the backdrop of war-torn landscapes and looming danger, a tender love story blossoms between Adrien Lambert, Leonard’s son, and Louise Janssen, a local villager. Their relationship serves as a beacon of hope and resilience in the face of adversity, offering a glimpse of light in the darkness of war.

With its compelling portrayal of familial bonds, love amidst chaos, and the indomitable human spirit, “The Last Front” promises to immerse audiences in a gripping tale of survival, love, and the enduring impact of war on both individuals and communities.

“The Last Front” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres Oct. 4-10.
