Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!” on stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. There will be two performances on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 21 and 22.
“Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!” is an outrageous live performance featuring the original cast of Broadway’s Tony Award-winning show.
This is the true story of an artist finding his voice then throwing it. It is the journey of ventriloquism from the occult secret of seances and witchcraft, to radio/television and Broadway.
Jay Johnson (artist/ventriloquist/actor) known most for his role of Chuck and Bob on the classic sitcom SOAP, uses his skills as a storyteller and the assistance of a cast of imaginary characters to deconstruct the misunderstood art form of ventriloquism.
When you see this award-winning show live, you won’t believe your ears. “Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!” will make you laugh. It might make you cry. But will surely make you think.
“Jay Johnson: The Two and Only!” will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 22 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door.
All tickets include a meet-and-greet with Jay Johnson in the lobby after each show.
