Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “Til Death Do Us Part … You First!” starring Peter Fogel on stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. There will be two performances on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13 and 14.

“Til Death Do Us Part … You First!” — directed by Academy Award-nominee Chazz Palminteri (Bullets Over Broadway, A Bronx Tale) and starring Peter Fogel (My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m In Therapy!) — is a tour-de-force performance that reminds audiences of the ups and downs of love and marriage.
Combining fast-paced comedy with a grounded sense of pathos, the 90-minute theatrical comedy written and performed by Peter Fogel chronicles the comedian’s personal journey to find acceptance.
This hilarious multi-media solo show is about eternal bachelor (Fogel) who — due to his commitment issues — is dumped by his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day! Sensing his own mortality, Fogel is visited by his Conscience (Chazz Palminteri in a voice-over) who guides him on how to get the love of his life back.
With his vocal & physical dexterity Fogel masterfully brings to life over ten relatable characters (from his life) that will leave audiences howling with laughter– as he relates one bold and wacky anecdote after another.

I recently discovered that the movie A Bronx Tale is based upon Chazz Palminteri‘a actual life. Makes seeing him in the talkies all the better knowing he’s walked the walk.
