Sedona News – UFO enthusiasts are in for a captivating presentation, on October 27, 2024, in Sedona, AZ as Dr. Richard Carmen reveals his extraordinary experiences to the public for the first time, coinciding with the release of his much-anticipated book The Voice. (available at Amazon.com)
“While my story will shock many people, it will confirm what the majority of the world already believes,” Dr. Carmen said. “We are not alone. I’ll also touch on life changing information I was told about our ultimate contact:God. It’s no as complex as we ‘ve been led to believe.”
Dr. Carmen will introduce Dr. Jo Stone who was present in his 1980s extraterrestrial contact encounters. She recaps her dissertation, A Descriptive Study of People Reporting Abduction by Unidentified Flying Objects.
Dr. Carmen will share insights into his profound telepathic interchanges, offering possible messages for humanity and exploring the life-changing effects these experiences had on them and a diverse group of witnesses—encounters that transformed his understanding of religion, faith, and God.
Richard E. Carmen holds multiple degrees in mainstream science, including a Doctor of Audiology from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an award-winning author with over 50 publications, including feature articles, cover stories, chapters, books, and peer-reviewed scientific papers. He has collaborated with over 100 scholars from renowned institutions such as Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Children’s Hospital, Mayo Clinic, and NIH through his publishing endeavors and research.
Dr. Carmen’s journey began when he was a young child, after a visit from what he now perceives may have been a Being of Light.
“It started as a journey in 1985 merely as an inquiry into whether or not there was an extraterrestrial presence on our planet and if that’s what happened to me in a childhood encounter,” he said. “But that childhood experience I never fully interpreted as being extraterrestrial. It struck me more like an angel had visited. I was too young to process and understand physical contact and higher dimensional interactions with what I would later believe to be a Being of Light. It still remains an enigma.”
Thirty years later he set out on a quest to see if he might discover a divine presence within himself, and if so, perhaps that would help define his childhood experience.
“On January 1, 1985 at age 39 I began living like a monk in the city,” he said. “I know this might sound ludicrous to many people, but I had read a plethora of books on spiritual development and while I thought of myself as a spiritual person – which I was to learn I fell far short of – there was this pervasive, troubling void in me.
“Food, intimacy, publishing successes all fell short of fulfillment. Something deep within was tugging at me as if that part of me had been asleep my whole life. I can’t explain it, but I knew there was access to this Divine Presence for all of us. I just had to find the path. Among many things I was putting a hold on were more spiritual readings. It was time to put into practice everything I thought I had learned about a spiritual path.
“In other words, close the books and open the heart. While still in practice I took on living a celibate life. I practiced meditation daily. I fasted and lived a vegetarian lifestyle. No alcohol or over-the-counter remedies. No TV, radio, magazines. I essentially isolated myself.
Six months into his quest an extraterrestrial group reached out to him with an invitation to witness their presence. They set the date three months hence.
According to Dr. Carmen, advanced forms of life have been watching and waiting for the moment to make their global appearance. Many eyes and hearts are now being opened to this emerging reality. As more and more like-minded people share their truths, it is setting the stage for the long-hoped-for planetary awakening.
“I’ve come to realize that to bring change to the world, this family of Off-Planet Intelligence does not kill to conquer,” he said. “They open hearts that enable us to see through the eyes of spirit.”
Through the years of his spiritual awakening he found himself living it with more compassion for his fellow human beings.
“As I discovered, that’s why the world seems to persist in emotional turmoil,” he said “Too little love and compassion. I came to discover how something as simple as a smile can truly shift another person out of their hole. I’ve done this so often for so many years now that often I’m not even conscious I’m doing it.”
He speaks of his newly released book The Voice and explains how its writing made his life experience better, noting that he is still receiving information aiding him along his spiritual journey.
“It so altered my life that, as I reveal in The Voice, the old Richard died,” he said. “Its origin is from a higher evolutionary pathway capable of assisting all of us. Now, obviously, not everyone who sets out on a spiritual journey is going to hear a voice, but that’s what occurred to a few of us in our group.”
He differentiates between a conscience and the audible voice he hears.
“We all have a conscience, right? It’s our inner voice,” he asks. “We depend on it for higher truths, a better direction, even wisdom that can change the direction of our lives. So, just to be clear, the Voice in contact with me for a very short time was not my conscience. It was a profoundly audible Intelligence.”
Dr. Carmen believes that everyone has an inner spiritual voice and that it’s a process of learning and developing a pathway of “knowing” without any experience behind it to actually know anything and that beyond that voice, resides intuition.
“It would no longer have to come with a voice,” he said. “Just a knowing. In its purest sense we might call it intuition, but it’s far more complex than that, and I confess even as a scientist I do not fully understand the process. And yet I’ve experienced it countless times. The 13th century Persian poet Rumi describes it well. “There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.”
