… the peaches are about gone from the tree out back, but they are enjoyed by golfers, residents and the wildlife in the neighborhood … like this grey squirrel hanging from a pine tree eating his prize … and he looks relaxed and without a care in the world.

The photo below is of S-P crater up on the San Francisco Volcanic Field … taken late on a January afternoon. You are looking approximately to the east … the snow is on the north side of the volcano. In the upper right of the image you can see a road cutting across on a diagonal and another road coming towards the crater. The road at the time is US 89 heading north from Flagstaff … click on the link to read the Arizona Highways article on S-P Crater. The age of the crater is about fifty thousand years.

Have a wonderful Labor Day celebration … a hamburger, hotdogs and beans for me! September is here, cooler days and nights as we head into fall … my favorite time of year!

Keep breathing, smile and find a way to make someones day a little brighter.

    Cheers,

    Ted

A bird flies through the sky, and I fly with it. I am in
each pearl of moisture sparkling in the sun. I lie lazy
on the clouds. And I acknowledge my kinship with
    each winged thing.

I see all as one, and nothing repels me, as this new
day climbs noiselessly out of the valley of the night.

Peace lies over the world and over the world of my soul.

    Beatles Tribute at Blazin’ M

I can honestly say, having grown up in the Bronx in the 60s, that if it had not been for the Beatles I most likely would have grown up to be a criminal or been killed in a violent gang war.
