… sometimes the wildlife we see at the lake could easily be a bronze or other media sculpture and such is the case with the double crested cormorants above as they perch on a tree trunk in the water. The male develops bushy eyebrows either white or black during the breeding season … the female does not. Be a cool sculpture to own!
Below is a photo of a pair of common mergansers … the drake has the green head, and water is flying everywhere as they hurtle down a watery runway gaining speed to enter flight. Cormorants also run on the water to gain speed for takeoff. Interesting difference is that the mergansers run on the water one webbed foot at a time whereas the cormorants use both feet simultaneously … so do pelicans.

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
