Verde Valley News – Rainbow Acres, a pioneering force in supporting the neuro diversity community, announces the dissolution of Sedona Lago Gardens (SLG). After years of diligent effort by SLG President Gary Wagner, staff, Barbara Lago, the Board of Trustees of Sedona Lago Gardens has voted to wind up and liquidate business operations. On behalf of Rainbow Acres and Sedona Lago Gardens, we wish to express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Wagner, Barbara Lago, the donors, supporters and the SLG Board for their good work in serving adults with autism over the past few years.

Mike Prochelo, President & CEO stated, “After considerable effort, the brand that was originally intended to operate with a base in the Sedona community, will cease to operate. Rainbow Acres will be refocusing its efforts on serving people that are neuro-divergent from our main Camp Verde Ranch. The mission of Rainbow Acres is to be a Christian community with heart that empowers people with developmental disabilities to live to their fullest potential with dignity and purpose.

As part of this added focus, Rainbow Acres will be strengthening its programs, partnerships, and resources to continue to serve the autism community in the Verde Valley. Rainbow will be spending more time in Sedona and will invite people to learn more about its overall mission and vision. Rainbow Acres invites the community, partners, and supporters to visit our beautiful ranch. Together, everyone can continue to drive positive change and create lasting impact.
