    By Amaya Gayle Gregory

Amaya Gayle GregoryMy religion is experiencing, experiencing all there is to experience, all that my life lays before me, savoring its taste, breathing in its scent, reveling in its touch, arms spread in awe of its vistas of glory, its spectacles of suffering, smitten by the music of its spheres.

My religion sits on the bedrock of uncertainty, that lies in the field of unknowing. Realizing that nothing found can be ultimately true, I am relieved … of the pressure to get it right, the need to achieve, the push to conform.

My religion is curiosity, rampant and unending, in childlike awe of my surroundings and all that falls within it. The more curious I am, the curiouser life appears to be.

My religion is caring, caring about myself and others, recognizing that no transient truth is worth the wounds it may open, nor any trauma it may revive. Hurting another hurts me. We are not two.

My religion is sensual, honoring the temple of God, the I Am made flesh, the expression of the expressionless. I celebrate the body in all its shapes, sizes, and colors, with its incredibly diverse sexualities, and the gloriously messy world in which it all appears, without which there would be nothing to experience.

My religion is sacred, heralding the divinity of the human, the humanity of the divine. They are not two.

My religion is communion with what is, with and as what is here now, the love and the fear, the joy and the depression, the happiness and the anxiety. Every aspect of myself, the heart felt and the seemingly unhealed, is welcome in my church.

My religion is innocence, the simple blank page of possibility, the open empty heart of unknowing, love by any other name, unconditionally loving what is.

My religion is sharing, sharing my current best understanding, knowing that it is constantly being revised and listening to other perspectives, understanding that sharing is one delicious way the sacred blueprint evolves.

    What’s yours?

There is no appropriate bio for Amaya Gayle. She doesn’t exist other than as an expression of Consciousness Itself. Talking about her in biographical terms is a disservice to the truth and to anyone who might be led to believe in such nonsense. None of us exist, not in the way we think. Ideas spring into words. Words flow onto paper and yet no one writes them. They simply appear fully formed. Looking at her you would swear this is a lie. She’s there after all, but honestly, she’s not. Bios normally wax on about accomplishments and beliefs, happenings in time and space. She has never accomplished anything, has no beliefs and like you was never born and will never die. Engage with Amaya at your own risk.

My religion, doesn’t think its better than yours. My religion doesnt make laws. My religion doesnt control people. My religion doesnt make things up that are not true, then pass laws to control your body parts.

See I have no religion, Ive seen the evil it has brought to the world. Wars, starvation, suffering. I got to see what religion helped make worse during a pandemic!

Why people cant understand that no one needs religion, because as grown adults we know how to make people laugh or cry. That should be enough to understand right from wrong!

So for those of you that must have it fine by me. Now you better not preach, or pass some hair brain law and tell me its in your book of fantasies! You leave me alone, I will leave you alone!

Yep! But unfortunately people believe the funny pages they’ve been brainwashed with.

Would’ve loved to see Noah loading his individually constructed mega yacht with 2 of each species of Dinosaur though.!

Just look at the Pro Israel/Palestine protests on our University Campuses. Students who haven’t a clue about Middle Eastern history and politics willing to thump one another’s heads in over war and death caused by religion.
