… in only ten days we will be doing the “Kestrels in Love” performance/fund raiser for International Raptor and Falconry Center at the Mary D. Fisher Theater in West Sedona. The show will be loaded with raptor photographs and live raptors … three American Kestrels, a Saker Falcon and maybe more. You will be able to interact with the birds and learn a great deal about them as Michele and Devin teach you about these marvelous creatures.

The image above is a composite I put together when Finley passed a couple of years ago … it is hard to fill his talons, but Lennox is doing a great job of it and he will be present on the seventh. You will love this little guy.

On Valentines Day I have a very special photo of Sunset Crater that I send out … here is a sample of what will go out. When you view Sunset Crater from the west looking east, the collapsed rim on the east side makes the volcanic cone look like a heart. Click on the link above to learn more about this awesome crater just a short drive form Sedona or Flagstaff. In the background is the Painted Desert and more volcanic cones on the field.

Not sure how I altered the format of this email, but time to close out the day as I’m headed down to the lake early morning.

Have a beautiful day … as always, your choice and only you can make it so!

    Smiles,

    Ted

I am the dawn, the whisper of winds, the perfume
    of morning.

The passing night fondled me, hovering close to me,
    softly, silently.

The breaking day builds the spirit temple of my joy.
    I abandon myself!

It seems to me that never before have I walked with
the spirit as now, nor overcome space, time, and the
elements as I overcome them now.

It Takes a Lifetime and Sometimes Even More

    By Amaya  Gayle

Sedona, AZ — It takes a lifetime (perhaps lifetimes) of stretching and expanding, ripping and tearing, just to move through one’s predispositions, to meet one’s inbred resistance and evolve to the grace of simple tolerance. During this precious part of the journey, it feels like you are taking the steps, are choosing right, left or straight ahead, that you are in the game.
