Prescott News – Ready to treat the winter doldrums with laughter, the best medicine? As an encore to his rousing, sold-out performance in 2022, Brian Regan will again deliver the comedic goods at the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 24 at 7:00 p.m.

Critics, audiences, and fellow comedians agree: Brian Regan is one of the most respected comedians in the business, with Vanity Fair calling Brian, “The funniest stand-up alive” and Entertainment Weekly calling him, “Your favorite comedian’s favorite comedian.” He has distinguished himself as one of America’s premier touring artists, filling theaters nationwide with fervent fans that span generations. His material, characterized by observational humor, hilarious physicality, and expressiveness in his stand-up routines, has been the cornerstone of his massive success for over three decades. What sets Regan apart is not just his comedic prowess but the fact that his extensive arsenal of jokes is entirely “clean” – a rarity in the comedy world. However, he emphasizes that being family-friendly isn’t the primary focus of his humor. In an NPR interview, Regan mentioned that cursing simply “didn’t feel natural” when he started doing stand-up, and he chose to stay true to his authentic self. While many comedians evolve their comedic processes with changing audiences, Brian Regan has adhered to a classic approach. Despite touring larger and larger venues, Regan’s method of developing material remains true to its roots. He shared that the essence of his jokes is still crafted by trying new ideas on audiences, evolving organically over the years.

Having built his 30-plus year career on the strength of his material alone, Brian’s non-stop theater tour continuously fills the most beautiful venues across North America. Brian made a scene-stealing cameo in Chris Rock’s film, Top Five and is a guest on two episodes of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. He has eight hour-long comedy and stars in his own Netflix shows, Stand Up And Away! with Brian Regan, Brian Regan: Nunchucks and Flamethrowers, and Brian Regan: On The Rocks. A regular on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Regan is the rare guest who the show invites on for two segments: a performance segment and a segment on the couch to chat with Jimmy. Previously, Brian was a regular guest on The Late Show with David Letterman, making 28 appearances on the CBS program.

Remaining tickets for Brian Regan start at $59. The Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center Ticket Office is located on Yavapai College’s Prescott Campus, 1100 E. Sheldon Street, and open from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; and one hour prior to performances.
