Sedona News – Schnebly Hill Road will remain open despite minor road maintenance scheduled to begin Monday, Dec. 4.

Maintenance work will be conducted starting at the Cow Pies area up to Merry-Go-Round and will occur throughout the day Monday through Friday until Dec. 15.

Because there are no planned closures during the repair work, road users – such as motorists, bicyclists and hikers – are asked to exercise extreme caution, especially while in the vicinity of maintenance and construction equipment.

Road work includes minor repairs and resurfacing being conducted in conjunction with Pink Adventure Tours.

Completed work will curb erosion and will work to enhance the road’s natural drainage features. This work will prevent the loss of road surface materials.

Schnebly Hill Road will remain suitable for off-highway vehicles and high clearance vehicles only following the conclusion of the work.
