The 100 + Women Who Care Sedona-Verde Valley Chapter voted Little Orphan Animals as the Chosen Recipient at its fall Giving  Circle at the Sedona Elks Club.

Executive Director, Nancy Nenad accepted on behalf of the organization whose mission is caring for sick, injured or abandoned animals from dogs and cats to draft horses, a steer and a zebra.  Little Orphan Animals is located on Nenad’s Cornville family ranch.

Chamber Music Sedona and Low Income Student Aid were also finalists. Each nonprofit presented its mission and reasons it should be the Chosen Recipient. Then members voted for the nonprofit of their choice.

After the vote,  members wrote a $100 check directly to the nonprofit. When all checks are all collected, they will present Little Orphan Animals with approximately $16,000. Since beginning in October 2020 and completing TEN Giving Circles, they have donated over $132,00 to worthy nonprofits.

The Chapter now has 165 members throughout the Sedona-Verde Valley area.
