“Jules” follows Milton (Kingsley) who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town, but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard.

Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the extra-terrestrial he calls “Jules.” Things become complicated when two neighbors (Harris and Curtin) discover Jules and the government quickly closes in.

What follows is a funny, wildly inventive ride as the three neighbors find meaning and connection later in life — thanks to this unlikely stranger.

“Jules” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre Sept. 1-7. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1, 2 and 3 at 6:30 p.m.; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 4, 5 and 6 at 3:30 p.m.; and Thursday, Sept. 7 at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
