    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present “It’s Complicated” on Thursday, Aug. 24 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

But the complicated fact is they're divorced and he's remarried. “It’s Complicated” features an all-star ensemble cast including Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, John Krasinski, Lake Bell and Rita Wilson.

But the complicated fact is they’re divorced and he’s remarried. “It’s Complicated” features an all-star ensemble cast including Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, John Krasinski, Lake Bell and Rita Wilson.

    “It’s Complicated” is the fourth film in a month-long tribute to Meryl Streep with a special “Meryl-thon” series in August featuring a different Meryl Streep film each week.

    “It’s Complicated” features an all-star ensemble cast including Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, John Krasinski, Lake Bell and Rita Wilson.

    The film was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Picture – Comedy or Musical. Streep was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, and the film received a Best Screenplay nod.

    When attending their son’s college graduation, a couple reignite the spark in their relationship. But the complicated fact is they’re divorced and he’s remarried.

    Jane (Meryl Streep), a successful restaurateur, has been divorced from Jake (Alec Baldwin) for many years, although they remain friends. When an innocent meal together turns into an affair, Jane finds that she is the other woman in the now-remarried Jake’s life.

    Meanwhile, Adam (Steve Martin), an architect hired to remodel her kitchen, is still stinging from his own divorce. He finds himself falling in love with Jane but soon realizes that he has become part of a triangle.

    “It’s Complicated” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Thursday, Aug. 24 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 general admission, or $9 for Film Festival members.
