… what a treat this morning to wake up to a winter wonderland and about four inches of snow blanketing my driveway and the path up to the front door. The top photo was shot through my main kitchen window looking out onto the golf course and cart path … after my friend and I had coffee this morning I went out and shoveled the driveway and walkways. It was actually fun!

Below is an aerial shot I took looking north from a location north of Bell Rock and Courthouse Rock. Mid photo you are looking into Oak Creek Canyon and the Sedona Mittens … Wilson Mountain is above center on the left and Oak Creek Canyon turns left (north) behind it. You can make out the San Francisco Peaks above the horizon line center right and the clouds kinda obscuring them.

The photo below was taken over the Colorado Plateau north of the peaks and at the horizon you are viewing the East Kaibab Monocline a wintry day and multiple layers of clouds creating a sense of isolation from everything.

Down to the lake again tomorrow and perhaps another encounter with an eagle 🙂

Have a beautiful day and choose to enjoy it and all those you meet and greet … life is good!

    Cheers,

    Ted
