Sedona City Council Woman Barbara Litrell talks with Tom Tayback on KAZM 780 AM radio about Proposition 410 and Proposition 411. Seems there is still confusion on Proposition 410: A YES vote will support the city council’s decision to stop ADOT’s decision to install 108 35 feet tall lighting along Highway 89a in the 2 and 12/2 mile stretch between Airport Road and Dry Creek Road. Additionally, ADOT is proposing to pay the City of Sedona $10.6 million is cash to take back ownership of the highway. That’s after ADOT repaves 89a and installs a stoplight athe most dangerous intersection in Sedona: Andante Road and 89a. A NO vote will toss the council’s vote and tell ADOT to retain ownership of Highway 89a and immediately begin installation of 108 35′ tall continuous road way lighting along Highway 89a.
