Yavapai County RecorderPrescott AZ (October 10, 2020) – The Yavapai County Recorders/Voter Registration Office is receiving many calls from voters regarding text messages they are receiving implying they are not registered to vote.

Though they highly encourage citizens to register to vote, these text messages are not being sent from the Yavapai County Recorders/Voter Registration Office. These are being sent by third party organizations with the intent of encouraging participation in this election.

Please be aware that you will likely see many types of mailers, calls and text messages as the November 3rd Election approaches.

Please check your voter registration status at MY.ARIZONA.VOTE

Becky & Doug, just place a phone call to county offices which in my case was Yavapai to get the help you need. They were very cooperative in my case. My vote is already in the mail.

If you recently moved to Sedona, you may notice that every four years, residents vote on something called Home Rule. The July 21 vote is simply about who controls Sedona’s city budget.

Home Rule allows the city government, Staff with limitations, and Council to spend any money they have on any project they want without regard to voter input.
